This item is partially made from soybean pulp, an unused waste product of the food industry. Upcycling bio-waste to new clothing saves precious virgin resources and reverts waste from landfill, this way contributing to circular economy and cleaner environment.
The exquisitely soft material made from soy pulp, also known as vegan cashmere, contains isoflavones – a compound known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory skincare properties. Isoflavones act against photo aging by arming the skin against oxidative stress induced by UVB rays, help to reduce damage caused by the sun and promote cell regeneration. Isoflavones are also ranked among the most estrogenic compounds, and have been associated with menopausal relief, improving fatigue, irritability and decreasing hot flashes.
